ZeBox® Demonstrates 99.9999% Efficiency Against Airborne COVID-19

We have demonstrated that our proprietary ZeBox® air decontamination technology can eliminate airborne SARS-CoV-2 with 99.9999% efficiency in closed indoor environments. These results were validated through independent studies conducted at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, with support from DBT-BIRAC funding, using aerosolized coronavirus rather than surrogate or immobilized viruses.

ZeBox® is a pathogen-agnostic technology, proven to be effective against a wide range of airborne microbes responsible for hospital-acquired and secondary infections. In earlier studies carried out at ICMR/NABL-accredited laboratories, ZeBox achieved up to 99.999% reduction in bacteria such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, fungi such as Candida, and viruses including H1N1 influenza.

The demonstrated efficacy against Mycobacterium tuberculosis is particularly significant, as TB is an airborne, highly transmissible disease with limited preventive options.
